Ingredients

- 2 cups of water
- 1 cup of rice
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 cup of mixed vegetables (frozen or fresh)
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
Instructions
- Start by boiling 2 cups of water in a pot.
- Once the water is boiling, add the rice, olive oil, and salt.
- Stir well, cover the pot, and reduce the heat to low.
- Let it simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender.
- In the last 5 minutes of cooking, add the mixed vegetables and garlic powder.
- Fluff with a fork once done, and add pepper to taste.
Notes
Rinse the rice before cooking to make it fluffier. Customize the vegetables based on your preference.
