Description

A flavorful and creamy blend of green olives, cream cheese, and garlic, perfect as a snack or appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup green olives, pitted (such as Castelvetrano or Manzanilla)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced or grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine the green olives, cream cheese, sour cream (or yogurt), garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice.
  2. Blend until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped fresh herbs or a pinch of red pepper flakes. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3 to 5 days.
