- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, and oregano.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken in a baking dish and drizzle with any remaining marinade.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or even overnight. Serve with lemon wedges for added zing.
