- 1 lb (450 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Lettuce, for serving
- Tzatziki sauce, for topping
- Diced tomatoes, for topping
- Cucumbers, for topping
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, and smoked paprika.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
- Once cooked, let the chicken rest before slicing.
- Serve the sliced chicken over a bed of lettuce and top with tzatziki sauce, diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and any other desired toppings.
Notes
Allow the chicken to marinate longer for more flavor. You can customize the bowl with additional toppings like olives or feta cheese.
