Delicious and healthy Greek chicken meatballs served with a refreshing homemade tzatziki sauce, perfect for dinner or snacks.

- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1/3 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1 clove garlic, minced for tzatziki
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, red onion, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
- For the tzatziki, in a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a dash of cayenne pepper to the meat mixture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
