- 3/4 cup butter (room temperature)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup mini marshmallows (reserve some for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate and dust with flour.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Gradually add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
- Press the dough evenly into the prepared pie plate.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes for a gooey center, or up to 30+ minutes for a firmer texture. Let cool before slicing.
Notes
Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Sprinkle reserved mini marshmallows on top for a garnish.
