Description

A delightful dessert that combines rich chocolate flavors with a soft, chewy texture, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (reserve some for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie plate and dust with flour.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  3. Gradually add flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
  5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared pie plate.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes for a gooey center, or up to 30+ minutes for a firmer texture. Let cool before slicing.

Notes

Best served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Sprinkle reserved mini marshmallows on top for a garnish.
