Description
A delightful dessert that combines the rich, fudgy texture of brownies with a crisp pie crust, topped with caramel and chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 store-bought or homemade pie crust
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the pie crust into a 9-inch pie pan, pressing it gently into the sides.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, sugar, and eggs until smooth and fully combined. Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the brownie mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread it evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is just set but still gooey. Remove from the oven and let the pie cool completely.
- Once the pie has cooled, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top. Melt the remaining 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and drizzle over the pie for an extra indulgent touch.
