Delightful Golden Peach Fritters topped with a smooth vanilla glaze, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced ripe peaches (fresh or canned, well-drained)
  • Oil for frying
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 23 tbsp milk
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix milk, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then gently fold in the diced peaches.
  4. In a deep skillet, heat about 1 inch of oil over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  7. Drizzle the warm fritters with the glaze and enjoy!

Notes

Serve warm, dust with powdered sugar, or enjoy with vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
