Description

A delicious and hearty meal combining rich lamb chops, cheesy biscuits, creamy mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans, perfect for special occasions or family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lamb rib chops
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (for glaze)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp butter (melted)
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled & cubed
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: dash of lemon juice or grated parmesan

Instructions

  1. Season the lamb chops with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chops on both sides until browned. Brush with honey or maple syrup and finish cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix self-rising flour, shredded cheddar, milk, and a pinch of garlic powder. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 425°F for 12–15 minutes until golden and brush with melted butter.
  3. Boil cubed potatoes until tender, then drain and mash with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Melt butter in a skillet and sauté fresh green beans with minced garlic until crisp-tender. Optionally, add a dash of lemon juice.
  5. Serve on each plate, stack lamb chops over the creamy mash, add sautéed green beans on the side, and include a warm cheddar biscuit.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate lamb chops in garlic and herbs before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
