A delicious and hearty meal combining rich lamb chops, cheesy biscuits, creamy mashed potatoes, and fresh green beans, perfect for special occasions or family dinners.

- 4 lamb rib chops
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (for glaze)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
- Pinch of garlic powder
- 3 large potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1.5 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: dash of lemon juice or grated parmesan
Instructions
- Season the lamb chops with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan and sear the chops on both sides until browned. Brush with honey or maple syrup and finish cooking.
- In a bowl, mix self-rising flour, shredded cheddar, milk, and a pinch of garlic powder. Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 425°F for 12–15 minutes until golden and brush with melted butter.
- Boil cubed potatoes until tender, then drain and mash with butter, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Melt butter in a skillet and sauté fresh green beans with minced garlic until crisp-tender. Optionally, add a dash of lemon juice.
- Serve on each plate, stack lamb chops over the creamy mash, add sautéed green beans on the side, and include a warm cheddar biscuit.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate lamb chops in garlic and herbs before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
