Description

Delicious and easy-to-make bite-sized steak cubes coated in a sweet and tangy barbecue glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite variety)
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh chopped parsley & flaky sea salt, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat steak cubes dry. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak bites in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and just pink in the center.
  3. In a small saucepan, whisk together BBQ sauce, honey, Dijon, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened slightly.
  4. Return all steak to the skillet, pour glaze over, and toss to coat for 1–2 minutes on low heat.
  5. Garnish with parsley and a pinch of flaky sea salt. Serve hot!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat.
