Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whipped topping (or whipped cream)
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a bowl, mix crushed chocolate graham crackers or Oreos with melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  2. Make the Peanut Butter Filling: In a large bowl, beat peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in whipped topping until well combined and fluffy. Spread the filling evenly over the chilled crust.
  3. Prepare the Chocolate Topping: Heat heavy cream in a saucepan until it begins to simmer. Pour the hot cream over chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth. Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter filling, spreading evenly to cover.
  4. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the pie for at least 2-3 hours, or until set. Slice and serve cold.

Notes

For an extra crispy crust, bake it in the oven for 10-15 minutes before chilling. Use creamy peanut butter for the best texture.
