Description
A delicious and satisfying meal combining juicy steak bites, colorful veggies, and tasty fried rice, seasoned with garlic and soy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb sirloin or tenderloin steak, cut into cubes
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil or sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 cups mixed stir-fry veggies (broccoli, carrots, onions, bell peppers, snow peas)
- 1 tbsp stir-fry sauce or teriyaki sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cooked white rice
- 1/4 cup diced carrots
- 2 tbsp corn
- 1 green onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 egg (optional, for fried rice)
- Oil for cooking
Instructions
- Toss steak cubes with soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in a pan and sear the steak until browned and tender inside.
- In another pan, stir-fry the mixed veggies in a little oil until crisp-tender. Add the stir-fry sauce and toss to coat.
- In a separate pan, heat oil. If using, scramble the egg first, then add cooked rice, diced carrots, and corn. Stir-fry for 4–5 minutes until heated through and golden.
- Arrange steak bites, stir-fried veggies, and fried rice on plates side-by-side.
- Optional: Sprinkle chopped green onions or sesame seeds on top for added flavor.
Notes
Make sure your steak is at room temperature for better searing. Use day-old rice for best results in fried rice.
