Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage (cut into 1.5-inch thick rounds)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra depth)
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Place the cabbage rounds on a baking sheet.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the cabbage and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic evenly over the cabbage rounds.
  5. Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Return to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  8. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For extra crunch, try broiling the cabbage for a couple of minutes after adding the cheese. Experiment with other cheeses if desired!
