Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 6 brioche-style buns
- 6 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp grated parmesan
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley (plus extra for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and pepper over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Slice the brioche buns in half. Layer the cooked beef and a slice of cheddar cheese inside, then close the buns.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, grated parmesan, and dried parsley. Brush this mixture over the top of the buns and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Place the assembled buns on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes or until the tops are golden and the cheese is gooey.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and enjoy warm!
Notes
For extra flavor, add diced onions or jalapeños to the beef while it cooks. Experiment with different types of cheese.
