Description

A delightful treat that combines tangy sourdough, rich Brie, and sweet cranberry sauce. Ideal for gatherings or cozy snacks.


Ingredients

  • 1 large sourdough bread loaf
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs (such as rosemary or thyme), chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped herbs.
  3. Cut a circular top off the sourdough bread and hollow out the inside, leaving a thick shell.
  4. Brush the inside of the bread with the garlic herb mixture and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Layer the Brie cheese and cranberry sauce inside the bread.
  6. Cover with the top of the bread and wrap in foil.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, then unwrap and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to brown the top.
  8. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm as an appetizer or snack. Best paired with a side salad or cheese platter.
