Description
A quick and tasty dish combining garlic, feta cheese, and fresh cherry tomatoes on a crispy pita base.
Ingredients

- 2 whole wheat pita breads or flatbreads
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush each pita bread with olive oil.
- Rub the halved garlic clove over the surface of the pita bread.
- Spread the crumbled feta cheese evenly on the pita.
- Top with halved cherry tomatoes.
- Place the pita on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
- Cut into wedges and serve warm.
Notes
Great with a side of hummus or tzatziki. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
