- 2 whole wheat pita breads or flatbreads
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- Fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brush the pita breads with olive oil and rub them with the halved garlic clove.
- Place the pita on a baking sheet.
- Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and halved cherry tomatoes over the pita.
- Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pita is crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
- Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before serving.
Notes
Serve warm as a snack or alongside a fresh salad. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to two days.
