Description

A delicious and easy-to-make flatbread topped with garlic, feta cheese, and juicy cherry tomatoes, perfect for a snack or light meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 whole wheat pita breads or flatbreads
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
  • 1 garlic clove, halved
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Brush the pita breads with olive oil and rub them with the halved garlic clove.
  3. Place the pita on a baking sheet.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and halved cherry tomatoes over the pita.
  5. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pita is crispy and the cheese is slightly melted.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves before serving.
