Ingredients

- 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast
- 1 cup cooked white rice (jasmine or basmati)
- 1 cup green beans, trimmed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Optional: squeeze of lemon or drizzle of sriracha for extra flavor
Instructions
- Season the chicken breast with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Grill or pan-sear over medium-high heat for 6–7 minutes per side.
- Steam green beans until tender-crisp, or sauté in a pan with olive oil, salt, and pepper for 5–7 minutes.
- Prepare the rice according to package directions, fluff with a fork, and plate as the base.
- Once cooked, slice the chicken into strips and lay it over the rice.
- Add the green beans to the side and top with lemon or hot sauce if desired.
Notes
Marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight for even more flavor. Add more vegetables like bell peppers or carrots for added nutrition.
