Description
A comforting dish that combines juicy steak tips and creamy cheesy rigatoni, perfect for family dinners and casual gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 12 oz rigatoni pasta
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak tips and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the beef broth and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
- Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce becomes creamy and the cheese is fully melted.
- Return the cooked steak tips to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
- Add the cooked rigatoni pasta and mix to combine, allowing the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.
- Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in a creamy sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
