Description

A comforting dish that combines juicy steak tips and creamy cheesy rigatoni, perfect for family dinners and casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak tips (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak tips and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the beef broth and Italian seasoning, stirring to combine. Let the sauce simmer for 2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce becomes creamy and the cheese is fully melted.
  7. Return the cooked steak tips to the skillet, tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
  8. Add the cooked rigatoni pasta and mix to combine, allowing the pasta to absorb some of the sauce.
  9. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through and coated in a creamy sauce.
  10. Serve hot, garnished with chopped fresh parsley.
