  • 1 1⁄2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2–3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
  3. Reduce heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook until fragrant.
  4. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stir to combine, and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the sauce until well coated.
  7. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter for a silky finish.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider marinating the steak cubes for a few hours before cooking. Use fresh Parmesan cheese for best results.
