Description
A delicious and hearty dish featuring tender steak pieces and a rich, creamy Parmesan sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1⁄2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1⁄2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1⁄2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat the steak cubes dry and season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2–3 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium, add 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet, and cook until fragrant.
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stir to combine, and simmer for 3–4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
- Return steak bites to the skillet and toss in the sauce until well coated.
- Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter for a silky finish.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider marinating the steak cubes for a few hours before cooking. Use fresh Parmesan cheese for best results.
