Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough or your favorite bread
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or melting cheese
  • Pinch of chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Toss in the cooked shrimp and season with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Take one slice of bread and layer it with cheese.
  5. Add the shrimp mixture on top, then sprinkle more cheese over the shrimp.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top.
  7. Grill the sandwich in a buttered pan over medium heat until golden brown and the cheese is melted on both sides.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
