A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese featuring garlic butter shrimp and melted cheese on crispy bread.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of sourdough or your favorite bread
- 1/2 cup cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella or melting cheese
- Pinch of chili flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Season them with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
- Remove the skillet from heat.
- On one slice of bread, layer with half of the cheese, followed by the shrimp mixture, and top with the remaining cheese.
- Place the second slice of bread on top.
- Grill the sandwich in a buttered pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and feel free to add extra ingredients like spinach or tomatoes.
