Description

A delicious twist on the classic grilled cheese featuring garlic butter shrimp and melted cheese on crispy bread.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough or your favorite bread
  • 1/2 cup cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or melting cheese
  • Pinch of chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Season them with salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Cook for 2–3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat.
  5. On one slice of bread, layer with half of the cheese, followed by the shrimp mixture, and top with the remaining cheese.
  6. Place the second slice of bread on top.
  7. Grill the sandwich in a buttered pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides and the cheese is melted.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor and feel free to add extra ingredients like spinach or tomatoes.
