Description
A delightful dish combining tender steak, flavorful Cajun spices, and creamy pasta, perfect for any night.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into thin strips
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 4 tbsp butter, divided
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tbsp butter. Add the steak strips, Cajun seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook until the steak is browned, about 4-6 minutes. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Lower the heat, pour in heavy cream, and simmer gently for 2 minutes. Whisk in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked linguine and steak strips back into the skillet. Toss to coat in the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your spice preference. Add more grated Parmesan on top or crushed red pepper flakes for extra heat.
