Description
A delightful twist on the classic cheeseburger, these rollups are filled with cheesy beef, crispy bacon, and wrapped in buttery pastry, making them perfect for parties or weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 small onion, finely chopped
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or cheese slices)
- 4 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley (for garlic butter topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and chopped onions, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook until browned, then drain any excess fat and set aside to cool.
- On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry. Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the pastry, leaving a border around the edges.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese and chopped bacon on top of the beef.
- Roll the pastry tightly like a cinnamon roll, slice into 1.5-inch pieces, and place cut-side up on the baking sheet.
- Mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley, then brush over the rollup tops.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
Notes
Serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or burger sauce. Garnish with parsley and cheese drizzle if desired.
