Ingredients

- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked white rice
- 1/2 cup green beans, trimmed
- 1/2 cup carrots, julienned or thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp cooking oil (like canola or avocado)
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet with a little oil. Add garlic and cook until fragrant and golden.
- Toss in green beans and carrots. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and water in a bowl. If you want a thicker sauce, add cornstarch. Pour this mixture into the pan and stir everything together.
- Cook white rice separately (or use leftovers).
- Scoop rice into your bowl, top with the beef and veggie stir-fry, and enjoy!
Notes
Serve hot. Add sesame seeds or chopped green onions for extra flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
