Description

A quick and delicious Garlic Beef Stir-Fry Bowl featuring fresh ingredients and flavorful sauces, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup green beans, trimmed
  • 1/2 cup carrots, julienned or thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil (like canola or avocado)
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet with a little oil. Add garlic and cook until fragrant and golden.
  2. Toss in green beans and carrots. Stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
  3. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and water in a bowl. If you want a thicker sauce, add cornstarch. Pour this mixture into the pan and stir everything together.
  4. Cook white rice separately (or use leftovers).
  5. Scoop rice into your bowl, top with the beef and veggie stir-fry, and enjoy!

Notes

Serve hot. Add sesame seeds or chopped green onions for extra flavor. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
