Description

A hearty stir-fry dish combining fresh cabbage with shrimp, sausage, and crispy bacon.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 head green cabbage, chopped
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled & deveined
  • 6 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives or parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, cook sausage slices until browned. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Remove both and set aside.
  3. Add onions and cabbage to the skillet. Season with garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until tender and slightly caramelized.
  4. Return shrimp, sausage, and bacon to the pan. Toss everything together for 2–3 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Garnish with fresh chives or parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using different types of sausage or adding other vegetables like bell peppers or carrots.
