Ingredients

- 2 cups of wheat flour
- 100 g of dark or milk chocolate
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 200 g of butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Melted chocolate to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake pan.
- In a double boiler, melt the chocolate with the butter, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy.
- Add the melted chocolate mixture to the eggs and mix well.
- Add vanilla, cocoa, and baking powder, mixing gently.
- Gradually add sifted flour and milk, mixing until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Once cooled, cut the cake in half and add melted chocolate to the center.
- Decorate with whipped cream and additional melted chocolate, and top with sprinkles, nuts, or fruit.
- Let cool completely before serving.
Notes
Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing and do not overmix the batter to keep the cake fluffy.
