- 2 cups wheat flour
- 100 g dark or milk chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 200 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Melted chocolate to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a double boiler, melt the chocolate with the butter, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy and lighter in color. Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
- Add the vanilla, cocoa, and baking powder, mixing gently. Gradually add the sifted flour and milk until you get a smooth batter.
- Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before removing from the pan.
- Cut the cake in half, add melted chocolate to the center, and decorate with more melted chocolate and toppings of your choice.
Notes
Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Sift the flour to eliminate lumps and avoid overmixing the batter.
