- 2 cups wheat flour
- 100 g dark or milk chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 200 g butter
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Melted chocolate to taste (for decoration)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a double boiler, melt the dark or milk chocolate with the butter, stirring until smooth.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until foamy and lighter in color. Add the melted chocolate mixture and mix well.
- Mix in the vanilla, cocoa, and baking powder gently. Add sifted flour gradually, alternating with milk, until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool before removing from the pan.
- Cut the cake in half horizontally, add melted chocolate to the center, and top with more melted chocolate. Decorate with sprinkles, nuts, or fruit. Enjoy!
Notes
Make sure to use softened butter for a smooth batter. Experiment with different types of chocolate for unique flavors.
