Description

Delicious and fluffy pancakes perfect for brunch, customizable with your favorite toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • Cooking spray or additional butter for the pan

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the milk, egg, and melted butter until combined.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just mixed. It’s okay if it’s a little lumpy.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add a little cooking spray or butter.
  5. Pour about ¼ cup of batter into the pan for each pancake.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes.
  7. Flip the pancakes and cook for another 2 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Repeat until all the batter is used.

Notes

Serve warm with maple syrup, fresh fruits, or powdered sugar. Store leftover pancakes in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
