- 250 g chocolate
- 180 g butter
- 375 g powdered sugar
- 3 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 250 ml hot water
- 100 g softened butter for filling
- 100 g dulce de leche
- 100 g melted chocolate for filling
- 100 g whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons instant coffee or cocoa powder for sprinkling
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler, ensuring the water doesn’t touch the container with the chocolate and butter.
- In a bowl, mix the melted chocolate and butter with the powdered sugar. Add the eggs one at a time.
- Add the flour and unsweetened cocoa, and gradually mix in the hot water until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the batter into a greased mold dusted with cocoa powder and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool before unmolding.
- For the filling, combine softened butter, dulce de leche, melted chocolate, and whipped cream until smooth.
- Slice the cooled cake into two or three layers and fill with the prepared mixture, placing the cake on a serving plate.
- Top the remaining filling mixture on the cake or sprinkle with cocoa. Decorate as desired.
