Ingredients

  • 250 g chocolate
  • 180 g butter
  • 375 g powdered sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 40 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 250 ml hot water
  • 100 g softened butter for filling
  • 100 g dulce de leche
  • 100 g melted chocolate for filling
  • 100 g whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee or cocoa powder for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler, ensuring the water doesn’t touch the container with the chocolate and butter.
  2. In a bowl, mix the melted chocolate and butter with the powdered sugar. Add the eggs one at a time.
  3. Add the flour and unsweetened cocoa, and gradually mix in the hot water until the batter is smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased mold dusted with cocoa powder and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let the cake cool before unmolding.
  5. For the filling, combine softened butter, dulce de leche, melted chocolate, and whipped cream until smooth.
  6. Slice the cooled cake into two or three layers and fill with the prepared mixture, placing the cake on a serving plate.
  7. Top the remaining filling mixture on the cake or sprinkle with cocoa. Decorate as desired.
