  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.

  6. Combine baking soda and white vinegar in a small bowl. Fold this mixture into the cake batter gently.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting it.
  9. For the frosting, beat together the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
