Description

A delicious and fun dessert with layers of chocolate cake, whipped cream, and crunchy Oreo cookies, topped with colorful macarons and sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup chocolate ganache
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup crushed Oreos
  • 1/2 cup macarons (various colors)
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease two cake pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add in the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
  4. Carefully stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin, which is okay!
  5. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool completely.
  7. Spread whipped cream between the two layers of cake and on top of the cake.
  8. Pour chocolate ganache over the top and let it drip down the sides for a beautiful effect.
  9. Decorate with crushed Oreos, colorful macarons, and sprinkles.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour before serving.

Notes

Make sure ingredients are at room temperature for a smoother batter. Consider adding chocolate chips for extra flavor. Chill the cake before serving for best results.
