A rich and creamy cheesecake featuring the delicious crunch of Oreos, perfect for any celebration or a special dessert at home.

- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 1/2 cups crushed Oreo cookies (about 18–20 cookies)
- 2 pounds cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup sour cream, at room temperature
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs, at room temperature
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 9–10 Oreo cookies, cut into small pieces
- 2 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
- Crushed Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a 9-inch springform pan with aluminum foil.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and crushed Oreos together. Press this mix into the bottom of the pan to form the crust. Bake for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Then mix in the sour cream. Gradually add the sugar, mixing well.
- Add the eggs one at a time, making sure each one is well incorporated. Stir in the vanilla and heavy cream until the mixture is smooth. Finally, fold in the small pieces of Oreo cookies.
- Pour the cheesecake batter into the baked crust. Bake at 325°F for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 300°F and bake for an additional 60 minutes.
- Let it cool in the oven for 1 hour, then refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
- To make the ganache, heat the heavy cream until it simmers. Pour it over the chopped semisweet chocolate and stir until smooth.
- Once the cheesecake is chilled, pour the ganache over it and sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
- Carefully remove the cheesecake from the pan, garnish as desired, and serve it chilled.
Notes
For best results, serve chilled. Allowing the cheesecake to chill overnight will improve its flavor and texture.
