Delicious bread infused with sweet cinnamon and sugar, perfect for breakfast or snacks.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping. Sprinkle half of it over the batter.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool slightly, then turn out onto a wire rack.
- Brush the warm bread with melted butter and roll in the remaining cinnamon sugar mix. Enjoy it warm or toasted.
Notes
Serve warm with a pat of butter or toasted. Great with coffee or tea.
