- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough or crescent roll sheet
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- Sesame seeds + chopped parsley (for topping)
- Dipping sauce (ranch, marinara, or spicy ketchup)
Instructions
- In a skillet, cook ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Drain any excess fat.
- Let the beef cool slightly, then mix in bacon bits, cheddar, and mozzarella.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Pile the filling down the center. Cut strips on the sides and braid them over the filling.
- Transfer to a parchment-lined tray. Brush with egg wash, sprinkle sesame seeds, and parsley. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, until golden.
- Slice and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
Feel free to customize by adding other ingredients like veggies or different cheeses. Experiment with dipping sauces for variety.
