Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Unroll one package of crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of the greased pan, pinching the seams together to seal.
  3. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth and creamy.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
  5. Unroll the second package of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, brushing with egg white for a glossy finish.
  6. Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
  7. While the Danish is cooling, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  8. Let the Danish cool for about 20 minutes before drizzling with the glaze.
  9. Serve warm or at room temperature.
