A simple and delicious breakfast treat with layers of buttery crescent rolls and a sweet cream cheese filling.

- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 13×9-inch baking pan.
- Lay one pack of crescent rolls in the pan, pressing the seams together.
- In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract, and egg until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer.
- Unroll the second pack of crescent rolls and place it on top of the cream cheese mixture, sealing the seams.
- Brush the top layer with the egg white.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
- While the danish is baking, prepare the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract.
- Once the danish is baked, allow it to cool for 20 minutes, then drizzle it with the glaze.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven before serving if desired.
