Description

Crunchy Doritos crust encasing creamy cheese, seasoned chicken, and crispy bacon make these cheese bombs a perfect snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup flour (for coating)
  • Oil, for frying or baking

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
  2. Form the mixture into balls, about 2 tablespoons each. Chill the balls in the fridge for 20–30 minutes.
  3. Roll each ball in flour, dip it in the beaten egg, then coat it with crushed Doritos.
  4. For frying, heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the balls for 2–3 minutes until golden. For baking, place them on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes until crispy.
  5. Let the bites cool slightly and enjoy them warm with ranch or a spicy dip!

Notes

For extra flavor, add your favorite spices or herbs to the filling. You can also customize the cheese used according to your taste.
