Description
Crunchy Doritos crust encasing creamy cheese, seasoned chicken, and crispy bacon make these cheese bombs a perfect snack or appetizer.

- 2 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos
- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup flour (for coating)
- Oil, for frying or baking
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Form the mixture into balls, about 2 tablespoons each. Chill the balls in the fridge for 20–30 minutes.
- Roll each ball in flour, dip it in the beaten egg, then coat it with crushed Doritos.
- For frying, heat oil to 350°F (175°C) and fry the balls for 2–3 minutes until golden. For baking, place them on a baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15–18 minutes until crispy.
- Let the bites cool slightly and enjoy them warm with ranch or a spicy dip!
Notes
For extra flavor, add your favorite spices or herbs to the filling. You can also customize the cheese used according to your taste.
