Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup whole pecans, for topping
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pre-made pie crust in a pie dish and set it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Stir in the chopped pecans and mix evenly.
  5. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and arrange whole pecans on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until filling is set and top is golden brown.
  7. Allow pie to cool completely before serving.
  8. Drizzle a glaze made from powdered sugar and milk on top before serving.

Notes

Best served at room temperature. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
