- 250 g wheat flour
- 4 eggs
- 100 g melted butter
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 200 g sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 50 g chocolate powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a bowl, beat together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the melted butter and milk, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, sift together the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the egg mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Divide the batter into two bowls. In one bowl, add the chocolate powder and mix until well combined.
- Alternate pouring spoonfuls of each batter into the prepared cake pan to create a marbled effect.
- Use a knife to gently swirl the batter together for a marbled look.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before removing from the pan and serving.
Notes
Serve plain, with powdered sugar, or paired with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
