A hearty pie combining ground beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, and melted cheese in a rich pizza sauce for a satisfying meal.

- 1 deep-dish pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casing removed
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 20–25 pepperoni slices
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat. Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until browned, and then drain any excess grease.
- Spread a generous layer of pizza sauce into the bottom of the pie crust. Carefully add the cooked meat mixture on top.
- Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and place the pepperoni slices over the cheese. Finish by sprinkling Italian seasoning on top.
- Place the pie tin on a baking sheet to catch any drips and bake for 30–35 minutes. The cheese should be melted and golden, and the crust should be nice and crispy.
- Once done, let the pie rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing it into wedges.
Notes
Serve with a side salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
