- 1 cup fresh strawberries (halved)
- 2 cups cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup red velvet cake mix
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 graham cracker crust
- Whipped cream (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until the mixture is smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, ensuring to mix well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and milk until everything is combined.
- In another bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix with the melted butter to create a thick batter.
- Layer half of the red velvet batter into the bottom of the graham cracker crust.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the red velvet layer.
- Drizzle the remaining red velvet batter on top and use a knife to swirl it together gently.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the cheesecake is set.
- Allow the cheesecake to cool and then refrigerate it for at least 3 hours.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Notes
Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Don’t skip the refrigeration step; it helps the cheesecake set perfectly.
