Description
A rich, moist chocolate cake packed with crushed Oreos, topped with silky chocolate ganache and whipped cream.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup crushed Oreos
- 1 cup chocolate ganache
- 1/2 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch square pan.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt together.
- In another bowl, combine the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Blend the wet and dry ingredients until they are smooth.
- Gently fold in half of the crushed Oreos.
- Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 25-30 minutes. Allow the cake to cool completely.
- Once cool, spread chocolate ganache over the cake, letting it drip down the sides.
- Pipe whipped cream on top and garnish with the remaining crushed Oreos.
- Slice the cake and enjoy every bite!
Notes
Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled. Pairs well with vanilla ice cream or cold milk.
