- 1 1⁄2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Lemon zest for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix the flour, cold butter, and sugar until it becomes crumbly.
- Add the egg yolk and form a dough.
- Press the dough into a tart pan and bake for 15-20 minutes or until it turns golden brown.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice until the mixture is smooth.
- Whip the heavy cream until it forms soft peaks, and then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the filling into the cooled tart shell, dust it with powdered sugar, and garnish with lemon zest.
- Chill the tart for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
