- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g unsalted butter
- 200g caster sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 100g plain flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Melt the dark chocolate and unsalted butter together in a bowl. Once melted, let it cool down a bit.
- In another bowl, whisk together the caster sugar and large eggs until the mixture becomes pale.
- Add the vanilla extract and the melted chocolate mixture to the egg and sugar mix.
- Gently fold in the plain flour and the pinch of salt until fully combined.
- Pour the brownie batter into the lined tray and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the brownies are set but still gooey in the center.
- Allow to cool, then cut into squares and serve!
