Description
Delicious creamy cheesecake bars topped with rich chocolate and sweet dulce de leche, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup dulce de leche
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust in an even layer.
- Dollop the dulce de leche over the cream cheese mixture and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
- In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just boiling. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth and melted.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cooled cheesecake layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
