Description

Delicious creamy cheesecake bars topped with rich chocolate and sweet dulce de leche, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup dulce de leche
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the Oreo crust in an even layer.
  5. Dollop the dulce de leche over the cream cheese mixture and swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set. Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
  7. In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just boiling. Remove from heat and add the chocolate chips, stirring until smooth and melted.
  8. Pour the chocolate mixture over the cooled cheesecake layer. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

These bars are best served chilled, and can be garnished with extra dulce de leche or chocolate sauce.
