- 200g pie crust dough
- 150g dark chocolate
- 200g peanut butter
- 100ml cream
- 50g sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100g roasted almonds
- 50g caramel sauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the pie crust dough and press it into a pie dish, covering the sides evenly.
- In a small saucepan, melt the dark chocolate. Mix it with the cream and sugar until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, beat the peanut butter with the eggs and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Layer the chocolate mixture into the prepared crust, spreading it evenly.
- Add the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate layer.
- Bake the pie for 25 minutes, or until the center is set.
- Let the pie cool at room temperature.
- Drizzle with caramel sauce and sprinkle roasted almonds on top.
- Chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For added richness, serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. The pie can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
