- 200g dark chocolate
- 150g butter
- 4 eggs
- 150g sugar
- 100g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 200g peanut butter
- 100ml caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a cake tin.
- Melt the dark chocolate and butter together, then let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in the chocolate mixture.
- Fold in the flour and baking powder gently, then pour the batter into the cake tin.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, then allow the cake to cool.
- Once cool, spread peanut butter between the layers of the cake.
- Pour warm caramel sauce over the top of the cake, allowing it to drip down the sides.
- Chill the cake in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
Chilling the cake makes slicing easier and enhances the flavors.
