Description

A rich and creamy dessert combining smooth chocolate mousse with a crunchy cookie crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 300g cream cheese
  • 150g sugar
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 100g crushed chocolate cookies
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate and let it cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and salt.
  5. Whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then fold it into the mixture.
  6. Press the crushed cookies into the bottom of a springform pan to form a crust.
  7. Pour the chocolate mixture over the crust and smooth the top.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or overnight until set.
  9. Garnish with chocolate shards before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled with fresh berries or whipped cream. Store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
